      Description of the activity:

The extracurricular activity with Roma and non-Roma students (together) from partner schools is dedicated to developing skills and attitudes by stimulating critical thinking for the inclusion of Roma children. The training of skills and attitudes will be done by organizing 12 creative workshops in the 6 partner schools, which will be attended by 240 students, 2 workshops in each school, for 20 students in each workshop. Students will learn to use methods and techniques to train critical thinking: Storytelling and Photovoice. They will learn artistic communication techniques by using symbols in image and text. They will acquire skills to capture the image in artistic format, writing in advertising format. By stimulating the creativity of the students, a digital magazine will be created, in which the best and suggestive creations of the students will be inserted. Advertising creations of students will support topics related to inclusion - capitalizing on local traditions, messages about community reporting - how they want to be the environment in which they live, the locality, the region, what they like and what they don't like in the environment in which they live. I live, realities with colleagues, adults, etc. The critical thinking of the students will determine their training, conscious in civic participation activities and active citizenship. The digital magazine, the knowledge and skills acquired by the students - the resource person for the inclusion in the students' school - are tools for the sustainability of the project, after the funding has ceased. The results obtained by the students by completing the activity: over 300 photographs, over 100 advertising materials form a transferable portfolio, for multiplying the communication techniques by the Storytelling and Photovoice methods.

The activity will be realized by the contribution of experts: 24 teachers from the partner schools in the project, who work with Roma children, 2 experts for communication techniques: Storytelling and Photovoice, 1 advertising / advertising expert, 1 graphic designer, 1 digital magazine concept IT expert; 1 expert working techniques with disadvantaged / Roma children.
